Letter 50

          16^th October 2018 (Spain)

         Dear D,

I have spent the last nine years writing to you and this is going to be the final one as you haven’t replied to me.  Reaching this point makes this a difficult letter to write.  I have recently read the previous 49 letters in this sequence taking me along a roller coaster emotional road, remembering thoughts I had at the time of writing of each letter.  I can clearly remember the feelings I had and even where I was when I wrote them.  In the future I hope I will find another route to convey my thoughts to you.

One thing has remained unchanged, in that I have the same feelings about you as the day you were born, my youngest daughter.  I love you.
